Local Elves

Craftsmanship isn’t a word I usually associate with ornaments—until I came across Local Elves. Each city is captured in a single piece, made up of dozens of tiny, hand-crafted 3D clay landmarks. Every detail feels intentional. Nothing feels random or added just to fill space.

What really stood out was the care behind it. The owners were there in person, explaining why each landmark was chosen and what it represents for that city. You can tell these aren’t mass-produced designs—they’re thoughtful, personal, and deeply considered.

My mom has always carried San Francisco with her from her childhood, and this ended up being the perfect gift. It’s quietly beautiful and deeply personal, and it brought a place she loves back into her hands.

Sutro Tower Glass Ornament

Great glass ornament and gift to a friend still missing San Francisco. Arrived quickly and packaged very safeuly.

We stumbled upon these ornaments at the December Nights festival in San Diego and are so glad we did! The detail on each ornament is impressive and we’ve been looking for classic San Diego themed ornaments for a while. We bought the brown and yellow SD (Go Padres!) and the San Diego globe featuring some of our favorite local spots. Both look great on our tree - we can’t wait to see which ones they add to their collection next year!

I love my ornament! The moment I saw the Yosemite one I knew I had to have it. I had been searching for an ornament of one of our favorite parks for a while, and this is the most beautiful, different, and creative one I have ever seen. I would like to purchase the Joshua Tree one next!

These are the most authentic and awesome ornaments out there. I generally don’t buy ornaments at holiday markets but I could tell these were different as soon as I saw them. Such great quality. Sturdy. And they aren’t just generic SF designs. I ended up getting a bunch because they are going to make for such great gifts. I also had to get some of their new Nation Park ornaments. So cool.
